My Practice
Many people look to reflexology to offer relaxation, help with stress and sleep and for common health complaints, such as migraines and back ache. When treating someone I don't just treat the condition but I piece together all that I see, feel and hear to look at the body and mind as a whole and to consider why these conditions may be occurring, this allows me to treat the whole person.
Body work is becoming increasingly popular as a therapeutic tool and has been talked about and practiced by many well known and renowned doctors and therapists. After many years of interest in body work and after personal experience and much research I was drawn to reflexology. I love how the whole body can be treated on the feet, which is an often neglected area and can also feel safer for people who have experienced trauma and find human touch difficult.
Reflexology is a tool that restores balance and the body's natural ability to heal. My practice also seeks to help you join your body and mind and to give you the time and space to notice, consider and feel what the body is experiencing and how this interacts with the mind. I work to restore balance where I feel imbalances and to explore with you the causes of these imbalances so that the effects of reflexology are felt for a long time after the treatment has ended.
